1. WATER TREATMENT

A variety of applications for chlorine exist, but the most common use of chlorine is for the disinfection of water, sewage, and industrial wastes. Drinking water is also disinfected with Chlorine as it destroys the disease-causing germs. Chlorination is the process of adding Chlorine to water.
